Password management is a critical aspect of information technology at any business or organization. IT admins need an effective way of keeping track of employee credentials on all of the organization’s different systems. With the growing popularity of cloud services, many IT departments are evaluating the pros and cons of cloud-based password management, as compared to in-house solutions.

Many nonprofits recognize the importance of being active on social media. Unfortunately, not all of these nonprofits understand the importance of sharing quality content on social media. Fresh, engaging content should be something that all nonprofits generate then share. Blogging is an excellent medium for this, as it not only provides a source of the content but, when shared on social media, directs users to your own nonprofit website.

Motivation. It is critical for every aspect of today’s businesses and nonprofits. Especially employee motivation. Sometimes employees can manage their own motivation, but more often than not, managers and leaders must take action to keep motivation high.

The end of the year is always a time when nonprofits scramble to get the last bit of messaging out or to attract that last donor. The end of the year crunch is full of stress. But it can also be full of success. That is, as long as you take care of yourself.
During the busiest of times, we need to be taking even more steps to take care of ourselves. In fact, according to a 2010 study from LexisNexis, white collar workers are deluged with data every single day, leading to a sense of a looming breaking point. Additionally, the study found, this deluge of data actually prevents workers from being creative and solving problems.
The study did discover, though, that workers can be more effective during times of high demand if they take time for themselves:

Though the abundance of articles, workshops and more may suggest that relationship building is a “strategy” that can be developed, it is, in fact, more of a personal commitment. Sure, you can try new approaches and formulate plans, but at the end of the day, relationships are about people.
Consider a young man and his great aunt. There are decades between them, but they stay in touch. If personal visits aren’t possible, they speak on the phone. And even when schedules are busy, they both make the time to talk to or see each other. Each of these people give a lot in this relationship, but they individually value it because of what they get from the other.
This is exactly the type of relationship nonprofits should forge with their supporters, especially donors: a relationship where donors feel they get more than they give. When it comes to relationship building, it is all about giving and taking.
For nonprofits, giving your supporters more is key. From experiences to customer support to appreciation, nonprofit supporters should feel like they get more than they give. This is the core of relationship building and will keep supporters engaged and giving.
