About this Course
CRM has a well defined security model that can be used to give access to the essential users to certain data and keep other users out.  This not only helps to restrict unauthorized access to data but any section that a user does not have access to will not show up, so proper security setup based on job function will reduce a lot of the options available all over CRM making navigation easier overall.  This course will instruct participants on creating new security roles and changing the actions that are available to users.           

Audience Profile
This course is designed for system administrators who want to use security to reduce the plethora of CRM options available to users by default or for restricting confidential data or areas of the system to the users whose role it is to manage them.      

At Course Completion
After completing this course, students will be able to:

  • Create new security roles
  • Assign the rights to different actions to those roles, like read, write, delete, etc.
  • Create CRM for Members Security roles to grant or restrict access to functions.
  • Assign and remove security roles from users.
