The Calm within the Storm

Over the last few months, there has been significant buzz (and more than a bit of drama) in our industry about the consolidation of vendors, the potential investment that could trickle down to AMS solutions, and what that might mean for the association space.

A lot of people are making a lot of money just fomenting the distraction of what this might or might not bring to potential customers.

But, as the leader of a technology firm with significant longevity in the marketplace, one thing that I can share is that, the more things change, the more they stay the same. One thing that will never change is Protech’s commitment to providing our customers with a rock solid technology plan – one that builds smart innovation into your timeline.

Technology is a double-edged sword. There will always be something new to buy. The distraction of “more, better, faster” has been with us ever since the dawn of the Information Age and it is not going to go away.

Likewise, there will always be investors looking for untapped markets, ready to move in, capture economies of a scale, drive up the value of their investment, and move out of the market as soon as the profit margins are acceptable. This is a given. The only question that remains is WHEN the exit will occur.

It’s the way much of the world works.

But it’s not the way Protech has decided to show up and serve.

“What do our clients want and need?”, and “How can we best deliver that to them?”

While all this distraction has been going on, Protech continues to ask ourselves the same tough questions that have kept us in business while so many others have fallen by the wayside.

We believe in “smart innovation.” We believe that technology is meant to advance our customer’s mission and that there is no other reason to adopt change unless it moves that vision forward.

What this means to our customers and potential customers is that we will continue to innovate in ways that bring the greatest impact to the people we serve. Further, we will continue to expect world-class service from our team in all that they bring to you.

Over the past few months, Protech Associates has invested deeply in our Customer Care, Innovation, and Client delivery teams.

One of the first results of this investment is our new website, where we will continue to share with you the advancements in technology, processes, and service so that you can have a greater impact on the people you serve.

Existing customers will also notice that, as of today’s release, there is a new, easier-to-use customer portal to that you can get the services you need faster. We are so excited to announce the Protech Marketplace as well and you will be hearing more from us about that in the coming weeks.

At the end of the day NOTHING we do matters unless ALL that we do advances what you deliver to the world.
