Dan Dotter – Employee Spotlight

Since this is our Winter Edition, we wanted to take this opportunity to introduce you to Dan Dotter, one of Protech’s Account Executives (and part time National Ski Patrol First Responder). We are so inspired by the journey that brought him to our team.

It wasn’t until his senior year of college when he discovered his love for sales. He began his career as a sales intern working at College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving.

Even though he was just starting out, Dan wanted to make a mark in the industry and help the company create a mission of a customer-focused experience. Dan states “One of our core values was to ‘Listen, Fulfill, Delight, and WOW’ our clients and this stood at the center of everything we did.  It was through this experience that I quickly realized that sales is much more than convincing someone to buy; it’s about understanding their situation, addressing their needs, and helping them achieve their goals.”

As the company grew, so did Dan. He was offered the role of the Operations Manager, and only a year later, the General Manager.

This inspiration led Dan to Protech! Since we are always on the lookout for extraordinary team members, we were thrilled to welcome Dan to our team.

Dan Dotter started at Protech in October 2016. His love of relationship-building and passion in sales made him fit right in! He says, “Having the opportunity to speak with association professionals every day about all of the amazing things they do for their members and respective industries really makes me feel good about the things we do at Protech.”

Dan is not just all work though; he spends most of his free time outside.

“Mountain biking and skiing are my two favorite hobbies. When I’m not doing that, you can bet that I’m on or near the water with my friends. I am also an active member of the National Ski Patrol, providing emergency care for sick and injured guests at Liberty Mountain Resort in Carroll Valley, PA.”
